Vanguard Loot Tracker Guide

How each part of the dashboard works

Getting Started

The Vanguard Loot Tracker shows every drop looted in the Vanguard tracking party in Ashen Empires. A script running with the party sends each drop here within seconds.

Live updates

Drops appear instantly via WebSocket connection. Look for the green "Live" indicator in the header.

No Account Needed

Browse drops, view profiles, and check statistics without logging in. Logging in adds reactions, favorites and personal stats.

AEDatabase Integration

Monster and item profiles pull data from AEDatabase for drop locations, expected drops, and item stats.

Mobile Friendly

Works on phones and tablets. Install as a PWA for the best experience.

Dashboard Tabs

Recent Drops

The default view showing the latest drops as they happen. Each drop card shows:

Tip: Once you're logged in, reaction buttons sit on each drop card on desktop. On mobile, long-press a drop card to open the reaction menu.

All Drops

The complete drop history, with these filters:

Database

Look up any item or monster in the game, whether or not the party has seen it drop. The data comes from AEDatabase.

Click a result to open its item or monster profile.

Statistics

The Statistics tab shows:

My Stats Login Required

Personal statistics for logged-in users:

Characters Login Required

Link your in-game characters to your Discord account. Verified characters power your personal stats and can join guilds.

  1. Type your character name and click Link Character
  2. Click Get Verify Code
  3. In game, send the code as a tell: /t nexo: AEM-XXXXXX (the code lasts 30 minutes)
  4. The bot verifies the character. You can also ask a guild leader or officer to vouch for you.

Renamed a character? Click Name Change on it, or send /t nexo: !rename OldName in game. The game keeps showing the old name when you log in or out, so the bot needs to know.

Guild Login Required

Join Vanguard, browse every guild on the tracker, or create your own. A Vanguard officer checks each new guild against its in-game leader before it is verified.

Player, Monster & Item Profiles

Click on any player, monster, or item name throughout the dashboard to open a detailed profile modal.

My Stats

View your personal drop statistics, achievements, and history.

Characters and Guilds

Link and verify your characters, then join or create a guild.

Note: Personal stats only work once you link and verify a character in the Characters tab. If the verify code doesn't go through, ask a guild officer to vouch for you.

Notifications

Toast Notifications

In-app notifications appear in the corner when:

Push Notifications

Get notified even when the dashboard isn't open:

  1. Click Notify in the header
  2. Allow notifications when your browser asks
  3. Receive alerts for rare drops and favorites
Tip: On mobile, install the dashboard as a PWA (Add to Home Screen) so notifications reach you even when the browser is closed.

Mobile Tips

Install as App (PWA)

  1. iOS: Tap Share > Add to Home Screen
  2. Android: Tap menu > Add to Home Screen (or look for install banner)

The dashboard then opens full screen, like an app. On iPhone, push notifications only work this way.

Touch Gestures

When you see "+X more" buttons in profiles, tap them to expand and see all items. Tap "Show less" to collapse.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my drops tracked?

Join the tracking party. In game, type /t nexo: pp to send Nexo a tell, then accept the party invite. Every drop you loot while in the party shows up on the dashboard. Drops from before you joined aren't tracked.

What makes an item "rare"?

Items are flagged as rare based on a curated list maintained by the guild. Generally, boss drops, unique equipment, and uncommon crafting materials are considered rare. Rare drops have a gold border and star icon.

What's a "Discovery" badge?

A Discovery badge appears when an item drops from a monster that isn't listed in AEDatabase as a known source. This could mean you found a new drop source, or the database is outdated for that monster.

How is "Luck Rating" calculated?

Luck Rating = (Rare Drops / Total Drops) x 100. A higher percentage means more of your drops are rare items. The leaderboard's "Luckiest Players" shows players with at least 50 total drops.

Where does the monster/item data come from?

Additional information like monster locations, weaknesses, expected drops, and item stats come from AEDatabase, a community-maintained database for Ashen Empires. Tracked drop rates come from our own collected data.

Why is the connection showing red/disconnected?

The WebSocket connection may drop due to network issues. The dashboard will automatically try to reconnect. If it stays disconnected, try refreshing the page. Data will still load, but live updates won't appear until reconnected.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes, it works on phones. To get push notifications, add it to your home screen ("Add to Home Screen" in your browser's menu). On iPhone that's the only way push works.

How do I join Vanguard guild?

Send a tell to any Vanguard member in game. We welcome all players, from new adventurers to veterans.

Why are some item badges not showing?

Item category badges are fetched from AEDatabase. If an item isn't in the database or the fetch fails, no badge will appear. The system loads badges in batches to avoid overwhelming the API.

Found a bug or have an idea?

Send a tell to a Vanguard officer in game. Say what you saw and which tab or page it was on. The tracker is built by Rebellious with help from Guardian and Myz.
